Theodoros B. Grivas

Dr Theodoros B. GRIVAS, MD, PhD Orthopaedic and Spinal surgeon, graduated the Medical School at “Aristotle” University of Thessaloniki, Central Macedonia, Greece. He completed his training in General Surgery, in Paediatric and Adult Orthopaedics and Traumatology in Greece and received the MD Diploma. He also received a PhD degree. He worked at the “University Hospital”, Queen’s Medical Centre, at Nottingham, “Harlow Wood” Orthopaedic Hospital, at Mansfield, UK, under Mr. JK Webb and Professor RG Burwell, at “Evangelismos” and “Thriasio” Hospital at Athens Greece. He is a member of the Hellenic Association of Orthopaedic Surgery and Traumatology and of numerous other scientific societies.

Orestis Ioannidis

Dr. Ioannidis is an Assistant Professor of Surgery. He studied medicine in the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and graduated at 2005. He received his MSC in â€œMedical Research Methodologyâ€ in 2008 from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and in â€œSurgery of Liver, Biliary Tree and Pancreasâ€ from the Democritus University of Thrace in 2016. He received his PhD degree in 2014 from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki for his thesis â€œThe effect of combined administration of omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids in ulcerative colitis. Experimental study in rats.â€ He is a General Surgeon with special interest in laparoscopic surgery and surgical oncology and also in surgical infections, acute care surgery, nutrition and ERAS. He has received fellowships for EAES, ESSO, EPC, ESCP and ACS and has published more than 130 articles with more than 3000 citations and an H-index of 28

Angelos Amditis

He is the Research and Development Director of the Institute of Communication and Computer Systems, 15773 Athens, Greece. In 2002, he founded the ISENSE Research Group. He has been scientifically responsible in more than 150 research projects.(

He is Professor of English and Convenor of the English Program (National level top class program). He was Dean of School of International Studies (2014-2020). He now serves on the National Steering Committee of English Majors (with the Ministry of Education) and editorial board of Australian Studies, along with positions in many other associations and societies. His research focuses on Indigenous and Ethic Literature, Australian literature, American literature, Canadian literature, and British literature, as well as TEFL.
