Dan Song is currently an Associate Professor at Jimei University, China. She received the Ph.D. degree in Information and Communication Engineering from Xiamen University, Xiamen, China, in 2023. Her research focuses on marine communication and coding, underwater communication, and quantum communication. She has published more than 20 papers, filed over 10 invention patents, and has led and participated in multiple national and provincial research projects. Dr. Song serves as a reviewer for a number of international authoritative journals and is an Editorial Board Member of Computer Science and Technology.

Prof. Blobel studied Mathematics, Technical Cybernetics and Electronics, Theoretical Physics, Biocybernetics, Informatics, and Medicine at different universities in East Germany. He received the PhD degree in Physics, a habilitation in Medicine, and a habilitation in Medical Informatics. He was Head of the Physical Laboratory in Environmental Medicine at the Medical University Magdeburg and thereafter Head of the Medical Informatics Department and then Director of the Institute For Biometrics and Medical Informatics at the Medical Faculty of the Otto-von-Guericke University Magdeburg. In 2004, he became Founder and Head of the Health Telematics Project Group at Fraunhofer Society, Institute of Integrated Circuits (IIS), Erlangen, and thereafter Head of the German National eHealth Competence Center (eHCC) at the University of Regensburg. He is author of more than 500 scientific publications.

Srimani Rojitha Hettikankanama is a PhD candidate in the Department of Decision Sciences at the University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka, whose work lies at the fusion of geospatial intelligence, climate resilience, and decision support for urban and infrastructure systems. Her research focuses on integrating satellite, environmental, and spatial data to support evidence-based planning for heat stress, disaster-risk assessment, urban climate exposure, and sustainable development. Her expertise spans multispectral and SAR image analysis, change detection, spatial analytics, and geospatial decision-support modelling. In addition to her research, she mentors students in geospatial methods and applied research. She also brings industry experience, having served as the first Geospatial Surveyor at Central Engineering Services (Pvt) Ltd. She holds a BSc (Hons) in Surveying Sciences in Remote Sensing from Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka and was awarded the Gold Medal for Best Student in 2024. She is an active member of IEEE GRSS and currently serves as Vice President of the Postgraduate Students’ Society at the University of Moratuwa.
